Lindsay Bennett
Director, Kaplan Nursery School
Lindsay returned to the SPS community in August 2015, as Director of the Kaplan Nursery School. She is a graduate of NYU, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She later earned a Master’s degree in Infant/Parent Development & Early Intervention, and dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Bank Street College of Education. After 10 years away, in the field of Early Childhood Education Administration, Lindsay is excited to return to KNS. Lindsay is the mother of two young children.

Harriet Janover
Director of Special Projects
Our congregation benefited from Harriet’s talented and dedicated service as Executive Director for nearly 30 years, during which she played a major role in the extraordinary growth that helped Sutton Place Synagogue evolve into the major Jewish institution it is today. Harriet’s vitality, creativity and people skills are characteristics that make her ideally suited for her current role.

Abby Johnson-Guez
Director of Membership, Development, & Strategy
Abby loves her work as Director of Membership, Development and Strategy at Sutton Place Synagogue. In her role, she oversees the membership and development function at SPS, as well as strategic initiatives and program operations. Before coming to SPS, Abby worked at Brooklyn Heights Synagogue as the Education Program Manager. Abby originally hails from Rochester, New York and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College where she studied English and women’s studies. She also has her Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management from Gratz College. Abby currently lives in Williamsburg with her wife and their dog.

Seth Golob
Director of Jackson Religious School & Family Engagement
Seth is thrilled to be part of the Sutton Place Synagogue as the Director of the Jackson Religious School and Family Engagement. Seth previously served as the Director of Education at The Conservative Synagogue in Westport, CT and worked on both the Regional and International levels of USY. Hs is originally from Baltimore, MD and graduated from Ithaca College. Seth lives uptown with his wife, daughter and son.

Ariel Creditor
Administrative and Engagement Associate
Ariel is excited to be joining the SPS team! Ariel recently graduated from Queens College with a high honor double degree in Art History and Jewish Studies. She grew up in Massachusetts and California, but now lives on the Upper West Side, where she studies part-time at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Ariel loves to bring music, Torah, and good energy wherever she goes, and is looking forward to an amazing year at SPS!
