Natan Hason
Natan Hason, originally from the greater New Orleans area, is a rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Before beginning rabbinical school, he studied in the Year Program at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies and earned a Master of Jewish Education through the Pardes Educators Program in partnership with Hebrew College. Natan spent seven years teaching Tanakh and Talmud as a member of the Jewish Studies Department at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School in the Chicagoland area. Beyond the classroom, he and his husband, Daniel, served as the Lakeview Moishe Pod residents from 2021 to 2025, creating engaging and meaningful Jewish programming for young professionals. Most recently, Natan served as the rabbinic intern at Florida State University Hillel and as a weekday minyan intern at Yeshivat Hadar. Outside of his rabbinic and educational work, Natan and Daniel can often be found playing board games, reading fantasy novels, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
