After School Offerings
Monday: Little Builders
Little Builders is a hands-on construction class where kids build castles, towers, and imaginative structures using blocks, connectors, and everyday materials. Through open-ended building challenges, children strengthen problem-solving, spatial reasoning, and fine motor skills — all while using their imagination to bring their ideas to life. There's no single "right" way to build here: every structure reflects your child's own creative thinking.
Time: 2:30 - 3:30 PM
Tuesday: Art Studio
Art Studio is a joyful, hands-on studio space where children create using a variety of art forms — painting with unique tools, printmaking, collage, and more. This class is rooted in process-based art education, meaning the experience of creating matters more than the finished product. Children are encouraged to experiment freely with materials and techniques at their own pace, building fine motor skills, creative confidence, and self-expression along the way. And yes — they'll still bring home original pieces to treasure at the end of the semester!

Wednesday: Game Changers
Game Changers gets kids up, moving, and playing together through classic playground games, sports basics, and active group challenges. Children will practice teamwork, coordination, and following game rules, while building gross motor skills like running, throwing, catching, and balance. Games are chosen to be inclusive and adaptable for all skill levels, so every child can jump in, have fun, and feel like part of the team.

Thursday: Sensory Lab
Sensory Lab gives children a safe, guided space to explore hands-on materials like oobleck, slime, play dough, and cloud dough. Kids take part in making each material from scratch, then dive into open exploration — squishing, stretching, and discovering textures at their own pace. Along the way, we talk about what we see, hear, smell, and feel, building vocabulary and sensory awareness while supporting focus and self-regulation.

Early Drop Off
Early Morning Drop-Off begins two weeks after the start of school. The program is held every school day from 8:25am – 9:00am, other than before parent/teacher conferences or school events. This program includes open playtime in the library or a classroom and is led by KNS teachers.
Children will be enrolled in mixed aged groups, providing a convenient opportunity to meet other KNS children. There are options to pay by day as a drop-in program ($15) or daily or yearly discounts.
