Purim Carnival: Save the date for our annual Purim Carnival, on Sunday, March 4 from 11 am to 1 pm. No one does Purim like Sutton Place Synagogue! Dress in costume! Play carnival games! Do Purim craft projects! Get your face painted! Lots of goodies to eat! $30 per family. Please RSVP by calling 212.593.3300 or via email to LGoldenberg@spsnyc.org. Let us know if your 5th to 12th grader is interesting in serving as a game volunteer.

Our Annual Purim Megillah reading and Purim Shpiel, will take place beginning at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 7. Hear our religious school students read the Megillah, followed by our incomparable Purim Shpiel -- the world premier of "Shpiel Kids Don't Stop Believin." The story of Purim with the songs of today!  Directed by Vera Winitch. Admission is free!

Then, on Thursday, March 8, our traditional Megillah reading begins at 8 am.

On Tuesday, March 20 at 6:30 pm, we will hold a Passover Women's Musical Seder and Dinner, featuring the music of Debbie Friedman and others, led by Cantor Amy Goldstein and in conjunction with the Women's League of East 55th Street Conservative Synagogue and the Sisterhood of Congregation Habonim. $36 per Women's League member, $42 per female guest. Our annual Passover Sedarim will take place on Friday, April 6 (6:30 pm service, 7 pm Seder) and on Saturday, April 7 (7:45 pm service, 8:15 pm Seder). Members and their guests pay $110 per person, per Seder, while the amount for non-members is $125 per person, per Seder. Children under 12: $60. There will be a reserved section for single men and women.
