Women’s League
As a member of our Women’s League, you automatically become a member of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, the largest synagogue based women’s organization in the world, which provides services to 700 affiliated women’s groups in synagogues across North America , linking 120,000 women with groups in Israel , Great Britain and South America . By being a member of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, the voice of Conservative women worldwide, every member has the opportunity to impact on the world around her. Through volunteer programs and projects geared towards education, religious observance, Israel and public policy and advocacy, members expand their knowledge and commitment to Judaism, participate in contemporary issues and support Jewish ideals worldwide.
In addition, the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism works vigorously to support the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, the Zeigler School of Rabbinic Studies and the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem .
